The Lazarski University Student Government informs that the electoral process in the By-elections to the Lazarski University Student Government will begin on January 10, 2025. The current proceedings have been discontinued. We cordially invite the academic community of UŁa to get involved and actively participate in the elections!

- January 10 Announcement of By-elections to the Student Government Council of Lazarski University
- January 10-24 Candidate registration
- January 17 Election of the Electoral Commission
- February 7-10 Electoral Silence
- February 9 Provision of the link to online voting
- February 10 Voting Votes can be cast between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm
- February 12 Announcement of election results at 1:00 pm
- February 12-16 Time to file election protests
- February 12-19 Time to accept or resign the election mandate

Participation in voting requires the use of the student's account with the album number in the lazarski.pl domain.

Voting
The elections will be held on February 10, 2025. Voting will be possible from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, remotely, after logging in with your student account details.
The voting link will be made available 24 hours before the planned start time of voting.
Candidate registration
Any student with active student status, not having any disciplinary penalties and/or an intentional offence prosecuted at the public prosecutor's office may apply.
From the day the elections are announced, Students can submit their candidacies in person using the form or by e-mail to the following address: wybor.samorzad.studencki@lazarski.pl (only using an e-mail in the lazarski.pl domain).
Applications for candidacy will be accepted until January 24, 2025. Applications submitted after this date will be rejected by the Electoral Commission.
Applications to the Scrutiny Committee are also accepted. A candidate for a member of the Committee may be a student who has collected at least 5 signatures of support from other students. Applications must be submitted by the end of the day, January 24, 2024. The selection will be decided by drawing lots from among all.
The Student Government is formed by all students of Lazarski University.
Every active student is a member of the Student Government. The elections are held to select representatives from the student community who will create the Student Government Council.
The basic tasks of the Student Government include:
- active involvement in student affairs, including social and cultural affairs
- protection of the rights and expression of opinions of the student community
- deciding on matters provided for in the Act on Higher Education and Science and the Statute
- organizing student life and taking care of the good name of the University and students
- representing students before the University authorities
- electing students to the University bodies and committees
- conducting training for students in the field of student rights and obligations

1. Wiktor Adamczyk
Faculty of Economics and Management, 1st year
A creative and energetic management student who is keen to get involved in the student community. His enthusiasm and initiative mean that he will fight passionately for the welfare of students.
2. Natalia Baranowska
Faculty of Economics and Management, 2nd year
I am in my second year of Human Resource Management. I am regarded as a person with a strong character, but also with a sense of humour. My hobby since childhood is singing, when I was younger I fulfilled myself in this field. I think I have leadership and organisational skills, so I will do well in many areas. I have been in student government since my school years, so I have experience in representing the school with dignity. I enjoy inventing, creating and managing new projects. See you in the corridor!
3. Maciej Biskup
Faculty of Economics and Management, 2nd year
In addition to his studies, he continues his musical education. For 14 years, I played the saxophone successfully in Europe and now I sing both popular music and opera. Apart from that, professionally I am a coordinator of Erasmus+ related projects. As I have often been on stage, I am not afraid of public speaking and working with people. I am fluent in English (I have a Cambridge Advance language certificate) and have basic knowledge of Italian and German. I am very open to new acquaintances and have a lot of energy to act!

Those who know me know that I am energetic, spontaneous smiling and open-minded. Always with a bag full of cool student ideas....

5. Michał Dąbrowski
Faculty of Medicine, 4th year
I have been actively involved in student affairs at the Faculty of Medicine for nearly 4 years. My candidacy stems from my desire to continue to contribute to the development of our academic community. I want to represent the interests of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, improve the functioning of its structures and effectively act on key issues for our community.
I am communicative, responsible and committed to representing the interests of others. Currently, I am the vice-president of the WIM Cardiology Circle and belong to the WIM Black Hawks Surgical Circle. I want to make the most of my experience in organisational activities and teamwork by working for the benefit of our academic community.
6. Marcin Grzelak

My name is Sylwia Kwiatkowska, I am a 2nd year Management student specialising in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
My passion is jewellery making and the broadly defined jewellery world. For 6 years I have been making my own jewellery and for 7 months I have been running my small business / online business: Kalisa Bizuteria.
I am a person who is very involved in developmental and innovative ventures. Humanitarian topics are also close to my heart, which is why I took up an internship at the Unsung Heroes Foundation.
My main qualities are openness to new contacts and challenges, quick adaptation to change, reliability in performing any task and a positive attitude.

Faculty of Medicine, 1st year
Medical Faculty student, Certified yoga instructor, passionate about healthy lifestyles, gained leadership skills during international MUN (Model United Nations) debates where she addressed WHO issues (fighting global public health problems).
In 2024, she volunteered at a centre providing art and therapy classes for neuroatypical people.
